Good times and confusion

For those who have already read this, there is a little bit more right at the bottom.

Today was a fairly average day as it started, but then it got more interesting as it progressed.

I walked to Church and talked to Grandpa Sacry for a while. I met Amy on Wisconsin and we then walked up to church. The service seemed pretty long, but then afterward, I got recruited to sing in their choir... Thats what I get for trying to sing parts. It was fun to sing some more, but my throat isn't quite up to par yet as far as singing goes, so I got tired quickly especially singing tenor. After Church, we listened to Mary tell us how to get to Columbia Heights where the Target is (she is rather thrifty and knows all of the bus routes and transfer spots and everything). Amy had to buy some pants for her interview to be an RA, and I needed some shampoo. So, we went up there and went shopping for a bit. As we were leaving, a homeless guy tried to get me to buy his newspaper, but I didn't at first but then felt badly, since I had heard of the newspaper before and knew it was for a good cause. It is called Street Sense and is sold by the homeless people for money They can get a permit and then go and buy a bunch of papers and sell them around town. Anyway, we were going to go eat at iHop, but Amy checked it out and there was supposed to be a 45 minute wait, so we didn't go there we went to Panda Express, a fast food buffet type thing where you can choose 2 entrees and some type of rice or noodles. It was really good.

Anyway, we then rode the Metro back to Rosslyn and walked over to Georgetown. After we got back to her dorm room, we had what we thought was a mango, but as peeled it I found out it was actually a papaya. Amy had been given it because she helped some people get in to the dorms. They were the adults that live on another floor in New South. WE unpacked everything and I tried the Arch Support that I had gotten at Target. I hadn't looked as closely at is as I should have, so it turns out that it was actually for 5-10 foot size in womens. Silly me! After that, we did some homework and then played Racquetball in the Yates Field House. It was really fun to finally play racquetball again:) I had to pay 5 dollars to get in there since I was a visitor and didn't have a pass.

I then walked a little ways and then took the Circulator bus, a cheaper version of the Metro bus, over to Dupont Circle and then went back to American. I had been planning to get a Big Mac again, since I was too late for the dining room once again. I was pretty sure that I could go there, since it said it was open 24 hours. As I got there I noticed that it was actually only open 24 hours Friday and Saturday. IT was in the fine print, anyway, I got there at 11:15, 15 minutes too late. I then went to Subway instead and got a footlong turkey breast on flat bread, because I though it would be good. So I told them what I wanted, and then I said toasted, and it turns out their toaster was broken. Then, I found out they were completely out of lettuce too, so I had a cold sub without lettuce. I thought veggies would be better than not, so I got the only things that I liked... Onions, peppers, and tomatoes. I then got chipotle sauce. IT was an Ok sub, just not at all what I was expecting. Anyway, that was all there was to my day. GOodnight!

So, as I woke this morning, I still had lots of onion flavor in my mouth! I got ready for the day and even brushed my teeth 2 times, yet still it stays there. I don't think it is good to get onions on Subway sandwiches.
